New Member Class
The New Member Class at Scotts Hill Baptist Church is designed to help all new and potential members discover what Scotts Hill is all about. This class is taught by our pastor and is offered one Sunday a month from 4-7PM. Information about dates and room locations will be announced in the church bulletin. Childcare and refreshments are always provided.
During this three-hour class, participants will discover the four things that unite us:
- Our Salvation (What God has done for us)
- Our Statements (Why we exist as a church)
- Our Strategy (How we fulfill our purpose)
- Our Structure (When and where we fulfill our purpose)
The New Member class is one of our three-fold requirements for membership. However, a person does not need to be a member before attending this class, nor does a person need to attend the class before joining Scotts Hill Baptist Church.
The time to officially join this body of believers is during the invitation after the morning message. You and your family may come to the front and inform our Pastor of your intentions. We would love to have you join us in God’s work of Transforming Lives!
