02/10/2012 - One Day With God Conference

Through 02/11/2012 - Pender Correctional Facility, Burgaw, NC - Scotts Hill has welcomed an opportunity to facilitate a One Day With God Camp at the Pender Correctional Facility in Burgaw on February 10 - 11. This event is a one day camp geared toward ministering to the children of inmates, their caregivers, as well as the inmates themselves. The goal is to restore and rebuild relationships through a day camp at the facility. As part of this camp, we will be providing gift bags for the fathers to give their children when they come to visit. These gift bags are estimated to cost approximately $25 per child, and we have approximately 60 - 70 children in need. If you were unable to sign up to attend, or would like an additional way to respond to this [ReAct] opportunity, sponsoring a child or making a donation toward Scotts Hill’s purchase of gifts would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be placed in the offering plate or received at the church office - designated ODWG Camp. Contact us with any questions.

02/12/2012 - Spaghetti Lunch

11am in the Family Life Center - Treat Your Valentine to a Spaghetti Lunch! Mark this date on your calendar and plan to join us for a spaghetti lunch to be served in the Family Life Center beginning at 11AM. Donations will be accepted for the meal, and all proceeds will be used to help fund the mission trip to Ecuador on March 23 - 31. Please help us better prepare by completing the reservation form and placing it in the offering plate. Thanks for your support.

02/26/2012 - Traditional Service Trial

8am in the Worship Center - As a result of the survey taken several weeks ago, we will continue the process of evaluating the need for a more traditional service. This process will include “test runs” to see how it will effect both the congregation and the worship teams. The first “test run” will be on Sunday, February 26, at 8AM in the Worship Center. Adjustments will be made on this Sunday for Connect Groups that will be affected. We thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing this process through.
