- Jesus Christ, who transformed Phil in 1977 from a wild, rebellious young man who was headed for deep trouble.
- Chris O'Neal Ortego, with whom Phil is deeply in love and can't wait to see everyday of his life. She is God's instrument for continual transformation.
- Ryan and Leslie: Phil's children who bless his heart every day (well most days, anyway).
- The members of Scotts Hill who make it a joy and a pleasure to be part of God's great work on earth.

Favorite Pastimes: Hunting, boating, watching my kids play sports, being with my wife, Chris, and keeping up with Fox News.
Ultimate Goal in Life: To please my Heavenly Father and to live a life before my family that does not contradict my preaching.
