Jacob and Jen R.

Jacob and Jenny come alongside national leaders to help them become all that the Lord has called them to be. They have lived in Honduras for almost a decade. During this time, they have supported church planting, education, and agriculture in three different regions of the country. As of early 2026, they moved to La Moskitia, the most remote part of Honduras. This region is home to multiple different groups with their own languages and cultures. Jenny continues to use her background to provide teacher training and curriculum development in La Moskitia. Jacob has come alongside church planters in two different indigenous regions of Honduras, both historically without solid evangelical churches. Jay and Kathy Shafto are dedicated IMB missionaries and followers of Christ. They both have been members of Scotts Hill since 1999. They are missionaries that have been all over the world and have now settled in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
